Kelli and Hal Miller

The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and i'm so happy for Hal and Kelli! i hope they are having a blast in St. Lucia on their honeymoon...miss her though!-Kel, come back to Oxford so i can go to CASA and KABUKI!!! ;)

In other news...PATRICK AND I ARE MOVING TO MAUI, HAWAII! Our plane leaves August 23rd at 9:40 a.m. If you want to say goodbye and maybe have a hug or two...i will be in Oxford until August 8th and Jackson from then until August 23rd!!

I added a map of Hawaii so everyone could see where I am going to be...We are moving to Maui (more specifically, the town where we are looking is called Kihei).  The big island is called Hawaii and the other most common islands to visit are Oahu, Honolulu, and Kauai.  We chose Maui because we found some Mississippi folk that we knew over there.  They have lived there for at least a year and know and love the island.  We will take ferries or planes to the other islands and go camping and explore each island.  Apparently, the island Kahoolawe is uninhabitable and you are not allowed on it because it was a practice ground for bombs in the war.  Hopefully you can all save up and come visit us soon! We will be back in the states in December because of weddings and Christmas, but hopefully we'll see some visitors before then!  If not, it will be that much more of a sweeter reunion in December.  Anywho-i will update more when we are over there and add pics so everyone can see whats going on and when/if we find jobs and a house!  Until then...google Maui.  Its pretty interesting and absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Love you all, Mahalo! (Mahalo is a Hawaiian word meaning thanks, gratitude, admiration, praise, esteem, regards, respects).

Learn it, live it, love it...Aloha! ~Thiel.

no comp

well, my computer is done for now.  it will not turn on and so kyle kyle the computer guy is going to find me a diagnosis and we will see if it is worth it to fix it.  in other news...my last class of undergrad has begun.  we started last thursday.  For the fourth weekend we went to Covington, GA on Friday to stay with Tedo, Margaret, Laura, and Thomas and Tedo's family at their lakehouse.  Then we drove to Alpharetta on Saturday to see Phish Saturday night and Sunday night. Pat and i didn't have tickets for the fourth and i really wasn't worried about it initially because Patrick is pretty much the luckiest and most fortunate person i've ever met.  We found 1 ticket during the day on Sunday, so all we needed was 1 more! After about an hour of walking around the lots Sunday night asking for extras, and the fact that it was about 30 minutes before the show, i started getting pretty frustrated and nervous.  As soon as i lowered my expectations, Pat walked away from me and my "negative vibes" and sure enough i look up to find him buying our last needed tick! i told you...luckiest s.o.b. EVER! makes me reallllly appreciate what i've got! love you, p. Anywho...this was my 2nd and 3rd show and it was amazing!! We saw a lot of people we knew and some we didn't (wooks).

I really cannot wait until Friday!! We are heading to brookhaven for Kelli and Hal's wedding weekend! This will be the first time to see Geny, Lacy, and Bep in a REALLY long time!! it will be the most amazing reunion ever and i feel really sorry for the guys we are going to drag along on our girl weekend with us! (pat, michael, wish landon was coming).
