The Millers go to Maui.

Aloha! For the week of July 4th Hal and Kelli came to visit! We would not have wanted to spend the holiday week any other way...and they started out our 2 month long visitor fest!

They arrived late afternoon and we greeted them with leis and open arms...

...and we took them straight to Paia Town!

and then on to sunset at Kam III

It was surely a successful beach day/night! On Monday (July 4th) we woke up early and began our trek on the Westside loop...stopping first at the ropeswing...

the double jump

...then we headed towards the Olivine Pools...

...then on to the Blowhole!...

...and finally to Honolua Bay.

After our adventures, we retired to our hotel on Front Street in Lahaina, ready to enjoy the fireworks on the 4th of July, 2011!

the firework show was amazing.

the only tropical birds you'll see here...

The next morning we awoke ready for some sensational snorkeling at Slaughterhouse Beach, a little ways past Lahaina.  Then we stopped at Maui Brewing Co. for some nachos and a sample of the entire beer menu! What a way to end the westside adventures!

You can sleep when you're dead! The next day we headed toward Hana!

mile marker 11

yes that is Hal and Pat at the top left, ready to jump.

i think this has some underlying meaning, however the boys wouldn't ever tell us the truth!

Waimoku Falls hike

...almost there!!

WAIMOKU FALLS!!

the Falls were raging harder than I'd ever seen, but Pat and Hal were brave enough to get closer!
Six days absolutely flew by and we stayed busy the entire time! It was such an amazing week and we were sad to see friends go...
On their last day, the boys got up and surfed at the Cove across from our house.
thats Patrick!!

we LOVE you guys!! We miss you so much!!
 XOXO,
